Poipu
Known for it's fine white sand beaches and cloudless skies, Poipu, is
located on the "dry, sunny side" of Kauai. Nearby Old
Koloa Town offers casual restaurants, shops and island activity center. The resorts of Poipu
front six of Hawaii's best crescent beaches. The swimming,
snorkeling and bodysurfing are top notch. The spouting horn, a
plume of water that jets up as high as sixty feet through an opening in
volcanic rock with every incoming wave, is on the west side of Poipu.
On the east side is Poipu Ainako, where the last volcanic eruption occurred
on the island.
